Based on the principle of cooperation and reinforcing the partnership among the largest marketers’ entities of grains for the Country, especially the local wheat, in order to provide strategic safe storage of wheat allocated to produce the subsidized bread for our beloved people.
Therefore, the Minister of supply and Internal Trade has witnessed the signing of the shareholders’ agreement among:
-The Egyptian Holding Co. for silos and storage
-The Agricultural Bank of Egypt
-The General Co. for silos and storage
For establishing a new entity, contributing in the stability and reinforcement of the staple security in Egypt, entitled “Egypt’s Land Co. for silos and storage”
The most significant characteristic of this company is that it will own locations(hangars/silos) in the middle of crops cultivation fields in order to facilitate the process of delivery and supply for the farmers.
